Temple Festivals in Northern Bali
Spring has arrived in Northern Bali and with it a rich season of temple festivals. The surrounding villages have been alive with the sounds of gamelan, the fragrance of incense, and the colours of ceremonial dress.
The Pendet dance — a traditional Balinese offering dance — was performed at a ceremony near the resort recently. Guests who witnessed it described it as one of the most moving experiences of their stay. Our team is always happy to let you know when local ceremonies are happening so you can respectfully attend.
Meet Mega
We would like to introduce Komang Supartini — known to all as Mega — who has been part of our kitchen team since 2005. Two decades of dedication, warmth, and extraordinary cooking. If you've ever eaten at Bali Mandala, Mega's hands have very likely prepared your food. We are lucky to have her.
